Anjana, the chimpanzee has played the role of a mother not only to these twin tiger cubs, Mitra and Shiva, but also to quite a few leopards, lions and orangutans. She lives in the Miami zoo and helps out with the care of many baby animals from time to time.
There are a zillion pictures of her with different animal babies, but these two were my favorites. I'm amazed at the immense love that shines through their eyes.. you can literally see them glow!
